Feeling the rising need of Higher education for all communities especially for girls, downtrodden section of society, IECS ( Islamia Educational & Charitable Society) established ISLAMIA DEGREE COLLEGE in 2002 which is recognised by UGC with 2f & 12(B) and affiliated with Chaudhary Chaudhary Charan Singh University Meerut. under the dynamic leadership & social reformer Late Ikramul Haq to illuminate the minds of youth with the light of education to serve the humanity.

It is the very first self financed higher education institution at Deoband which was initiated with traditional course B.A., a three years degree course affiliated with By analysing the very need of professional & job-oriented courses to make youth employable and skillful, IDC was transformed in to Islamia Group of Colleges with the addition of Department of Education (B.Ed & B.T.C (D), Management Department (BBA, A three years degree course), Computer Education Department (BCA A three years degree course), Law Department (B.A.LL.B 5 years Integrated Law course & LL.B 3 years Law degree programme) affiliated with Chaudhary Chaudhary Charan Singh University Meerut. The uniqueness of the institution is that all the courses are available at a very minimal fee structure keeping in mind the aim to provide education for all with best infrastructure, amenities, experienced & qualified teaching faculties. The main object of the institution is to impart quality education to cater to the 21st Century skills & the ever changing needs of the society not only for character building & personal grooming but also to fulfill the industrial need & service sector both locally & globally.
IGC is built up on sprawling 5 acres of lush green land with state of art infrastructure & equipped with modern amenities and technology. We at IGC believe in the friendship with environment and clean energy, so we have made whole campus eco-friendly by installing 20 kW solar power setup for uninterrupted electric supply to make perfect learning environment with well equipped modern computer lab and library. In addition to this we have facilitated students with fee reimbursements & scholarship assistance through various state and National Scholarship schemes. Apart from regular courses, we are accommodating students with private courses like B.A., B.Com, B.Sc. and M.A. in different subjects & M.Com recognised with Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut. We are also catering to need of the working professionals & Madarsa students along with other Urdu medium students by running a distance learning study center of Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad (A Central University established by an Act of Parliament in 1998, Accredited with 'A' grade by NAAC).The institution has completed 20 years of excellence in education by generating skilled and responsible Management, Law & IT graduates to shine India on the World Map.
